Final Tribal Council Thread

Postby Jeff Probst » Thu Sep 10, 2015 10:36:10 pm

Feel free to write your speech before Sunday, leave a prevote for the winner here.

I'll start by asking you a question before the final tribal: How are you feeling about the final 3 and are you excited to ask your questions? What should we expect from your questions and are you going to be evil, lighthearted, or sentimental/sad?

None in the final three had a perfect game and I love it, I will be looking to know their perception of their game and the game of the other three finalists. I'm gonna be lighthearted, I'm not bitter. Just wanna ask the right question and get the right answers and when the bell rings WINNER I'll cast my vote for that person. I'm gonna be analytic.

Congratulations guys, you're the final three.

I love the fact that none of your games were perfect. They don't have to be perfect for you to win, you earned it somehow. So, guys, I'm not bitter at all, my vote is kind of up for grabs. I want to compare your perceptions and I want you to be completely honest here. Please.

We had a 7 Sins challenge this season, and one of the sins was PRIDE.
Well... I want you to leave your pride behind tonight if you wanna earn my vote.

I want you to specify the reasons, moves, qualities, every positive that your competition tonight has in their advantage, every single good thing they have in their favour to become the Sole Stranded Survivor. I want you to be absolutely genuine and kind about this, forget about yourself. Don't be cocky.

[After they finish]
Now, I want you to point out the reasons you think you should LOSE this FTC.

What are you disappointed about? Why should you have lost?
Is there something you did you think could've or should've costed your F3 spot?
(I hope you're honest here guys, don't worry, you're not hurting yourself, the more honest the more you could get my vote and I'm sure your fellow finalists spoke wonderfully about you in the previous question anyway).

---AFTER EVERYONE SUBMITTED THEIR ANSWERS---

And finally, Penner. I adored you. But one of the main issues I had with you is how FORCED your social interactions where. They were just for the game, you were way too greedy yet here you are. Great for you. I had my eye on getting rid of you and some other people were, too, but the swaps saved you a couple of times.
You obviously have what it takes strategically, but you wanted to jump right away with strategy talk and I didn't respect that. I couldn't trust you much.

Yet you get here as the more obvious "social player" to some of these people but I think you're in a losing position. You better get rid of every single bit of pride left on you and get humble about everything. Because you set yourself as someone to get rid of early on but major luck (AND your inactivity--at the merge) helped you and saved you.

For EVERYONE thinking of giving their vote to Penner without hesitation because you think he was in control, think twice, let him do a very good FTC, but if he screws it and someone else owns it, CHANGE your vote because Penner could've gone home long ago and he didn't even know it (he still doesn't know it), he was puppetmastered, got lucky, was kind of a follower and he just took advantage of the people with bigger targets left in the game. So if you're thinking the vote is obvious, BE OPEN MINDED NOW.

Just like in real life, the person who thinks they're most deserving are usually the least. So be analytic and cast your vote smartly. Thank you guys, it was a pleasure playing with you, and I congratulate you once again.

Peace, CiCi.

Well it seems I didn't read the rules. I'm asking them to talk about three people, not just one. The three people being themselves and the other two finalists, is that OK? I mean you see I made several questions but I don't want them to answer every single one of them. They were examples. I think it can be answered quickly.

Also, I would like to discuss the timing about the last statement part. It was something I wish they couldn't read ahead of time, I wish it was something that popped up when they were finished with my question, directed to mostly the jury and not only Penner so I don't know how could we make it work.

That's it, Jeff. Those last two are it. Gotta go now, but I'd appreciate if you post the second after Penner replies my question.

Thank you!

Episode 15

Rocky
Penner, you're a great player, and you deserve to win too, you sacrificed sleep to play. I respect you. But you were incredibly lucky to get where you are, or to even make it past the merge. You got to the merge with numbers, Rocky was in the chopping block from day 1 of the merge, didn't have any numbers, had an uphill battle and tonight, he was concious of his flaws and I think you were cokcy. He doesn't have to have a perfect game to beat you, did you know that? Where are the people with perfect games? Sit on the jury, they're people with previous ORG experience yet they were outplayed. Rocky, your game was decent, even if some say it wasn't and your social interactions were amazing. But your FTC performance was the one thing that made me change my vote and even if you lose, you're my winner.
