Well, final 5, Congratulations.

Now it's just who you want to sit next to in the final 3 and how you're gonna get there.

What do you have to do to win the game?

Well that was an enjoyable tribal council. I think shares in Penner a slowly increasing in value after the stock market crash around Final 9. I'm still treading the fine line between getting the votes to win and not getting voted out before then.

I strongly believe now that I'll beat anyone left in the game, bar Candice. And with Candice, I honestly think I could give her a run for her money even if she's the favourite in that scenario.

I think after tonight I've got some tough decisions to make. Candice is the ultimate shield to make sure I don't get voted out before FTC. If I bring her to F4 and she doesn't win immunity, I win the game. If she does win immunity, she wins the game.

If I vote out Candice at F5, people are possibly going to wise up and cop on to the fact that I'm the biggest threat left in the game and vote me out at F4. This basically all comes down to whether I trust my social game to get me past F4 without a Candice shield, or do I trust me, Stacy and A.N. Other to beat Candice in the F4 immunity challenge.

I also feel like I need some advice on the Rebecca situation. I hate that she's still in the game and not really playing properly. Missing the vote today was unforgivable. I feel for the integrity of the game she should be voted out. I do understand more than anyone how difficult the time difference is but 1) I've tried to hard to make as many tribals and challenges as I can even though I barely get a chance to sleep before work and 2) I'm online all day every day keeping everything running smoothly over PM whereas she's often totally absent.

The problem is, Rebecca was one of the first people I bonded with in the game. She's Dutch, and so is my mom and that whole side of my family. We get along very well and she trusts me 100%. She's a really strong ally of mine and I've taken her this far not because of her goat status but because we're actually strong allies and friends. If she was more active, I'd still be keeping her around.

I know you can't *actually* advise me on what to do (and I know what your feelings are on the situation) but I hopefully am getting across that I'm not just keeping her on board as an easy goat to bring to the finals.

I'm also considering voting her out so that there's an extra space at FTC that she isn't taking up AND she's probably a guaranteed vote for me in the finals.

Can the idol still be used tonight or has it expired at F6?

As stated at TC, last night was the last night to use it.

How does the situation change with Rebecca's public announcement?

It could work out incredibly well in my favour. Putting Rebecca on the jury without upsetting her is I think almost a guaranteed vote for me. Plus, it puts me, Stacy and Rocky against Candice in the final immunity challenge. I've crunched the numbers (spreadsheets do exist) and I'm pretty sure I win a Penner/Rocky/Stacy FTC 5/6 to 2/3 to 1.

Rocky is incredibly mad at me. I think this is the first time that I haven't managed to balance my strategic and social games; I did something that should boost my standing with the jury but at the expense of my relationship with someone who's still in the game. That being said, if Rebecca goes tonight, we've got three strong players to beat Candice in a challenge and she's the obvious target. It's all slightly more up in the air than I'd like but I think should squeeze through.

Penner! You're the best. Congratulations on making it to the final four.

How do you think Candice's advantage in the immunity challenge will affect your chances? How did Rebecca's departure affect your game? What aftershave do you use, you smell lovely.

Have you prepared your case for the jury or are you just focussed on making it to the end of the game?

*performs rapid thread surgery*

So, is it all game on target Candice still?

Tell me this, who is a bigger threat in the eyes of Rocky & Stacy, you or Candice? (or the other of Rocky/Stacy). Does this all simply come down to threat level and winning, or does connection and loyalty play a factor? How does tonight's vote weigh into the pitch you'd like to give at the FTC?

Ah Christ Almighty. I just wrote out the longest fucking post and it got deleted thanks to my shitty internet. So much rage.

For now, here are two documents I've been working on; my roadmap (or resumé, for Jeff) where I highlight what I did at each round and keep track of what happened and also my scenario manager - where I track every jury member, rank the castaways in order of how the jury members might vote, and then calculate how the votes would go in each scenario (relatively best case scenarios for me).

Once I've gotten the energy to re-type what is basically the entire approach to my FTC speech that I'm taking, I'll be back. Or maybe I'll make a video.

In glorious vertical video, filmed using the front-facing camera on my tablet, here is the world's longest most rambling video confessional. It's in two parts because reasons. Filmed before the final immunity.

You can post it here and then reedit it a million times by reposting it, it's fine. Most people will go through several versiosn of their final speech before FTC.

(I'd actually just drafted a reply to your questions, found it in settings. FTC opener will come later)

Man, I am delighted I've made it this far. Last night worked out perfectly - Stacy was dead set on voting out Rocky all day. I think that would have been the correct move for her; while Stacy is always going to be a long shot with the jury, her best chance was to take me and Candice in the hopes we'd split votes between us. I deliberately waited until just before the tribal council to push for Candice to go for a number of reasons:

1) Candice can be really convincing, and I didn't want to give her an opportunity to let any of her arguments land properly

2) I wanted Rocky to know he was really on the chopping block in order to encourage him to try diminish all of his achievements. Having Rocky post this was a pretty successful implementation of my strategy:

Rocky wrote:i didn't outlast my old tribe, i was carried past them. i didn't own the votes that unanimously ousted cici and cassandra without my consent or opinion on it.

i couldn't make moves, i didn't make moves, thus i didn't push myself any further than necessary. I was PUSHED. i was KEPT, i hardly could keep myself. i didn't know ANYONE at the merge well enough.

3) I knew Candice had already spent a lot of time pushing for Rocky to go, whereas I had a bunch of arguments pre-loaded that Stacy hadn't heard. Getting a barrage of new information is what's going to change your mind when you have limited time to do it.

From what I can see, Stacy is battling for last place. She's nice and friendly, but will be seen as Jessica's coattail rider. Once Jessica was gone, she sat down and waited to die until I came along and proposed a strategy to keep her. She didn't have any particularly strong relationships with anyone, and hasn't had any strong opinions at tribal bar one fight with Nate.

Rocky is a trickier character. His gameplay has been non existent, and he's made a lot of blunders. Missing the vote on Steph, getting blindsided with Nate leaving, accidentally telling Jessica we were voting her out and then talking himself down at the FTC. On the other hand, he brings some friends to the jury that are potentially guaranteed votes. If people on the jury are bitter, Rocky will likely become the default option for those who are pissed at me.

I think I can articulate my story pretty well. In the tribal stages, I was voted most important person on my tribe. This was thanks to me building bonds with everyone on the tribe that I could. However, I was terrified of the target this would put on my back once we merged.

All the strong players placed highly in that vote; Steph, CiCi, Jessica, Cassandra. They all got taken out in quick succession bar me and that's purely down to my strategic and social game. I laid low at the merge while still being instrumental in putting the majority alliance together. Oh and out of interest, where did Rocky and Stacy place? 8th and 9th of 9 in that vote.

I'm gonna post an assessment of what I think each jury member will do next. Might do another video unless text is easier?
