Sorry for another post by me but I wanna get to know everyone. Where are you all from? I'm from New York. Maybe someone is actually from the Faroe Islands? Ha ha.

I'm from Dublin, Ireland. So it's actually pretty close to me! Some of my friends have been there to watch Ireland play them in soccer matches. Suffice to say that we would not have much fun out in the elements if we were actually stranded on a beach there.

It's an Irish sport, similar in a way to football but you can also hold the ball in your hands. Three points for a goal and one point if you kick the ball over the crossbar.

Hurling is where it's at though. It's described as a cross between field hockey and murder.
