Hey, I'm John Cochran, WINNER of Stranded in the Marquesas (All Stars).

Welcome to Stranded in the Faroe Islands!

You'll be seeing a lot of me here, as well as our 10 other co-hosts as we pick your brain to see what's really going on in your head throughout the game. Feel free to ask any of us questions in here if you need to, we've all been through it before and are more than willing to help.

Each round, we'll start by asking some introductory questions, and I just want to ask that you answer in complete statements. We will be actively blogging on each episode, and it's easier to do so if we have real quotes and complete thoughts as opposed to simple yes or no answers. We hope you keep up with your confessionals daily during the week as a way to vent and discuss the events of that day. The more you update your confessional, the better idea we have of whats going on in your head, and also the more fan favorite points you'll earn yourself come the end of the season . You don't have to only update when you are prompted to, whenever you have an idea shoot it at us because we want to know everything.

First of all, I'M SO FUCKING EXCITED TO BE DOING THIS. I've truly missed being in the game and just want to kick ass. I find myself to be a very manipulative person (in the best way possible) in my day to day life so this should be alright for me. I'm also pretty good at reading other people, which probably isn't too handy since this is all online. But I do have a few ideas up my sleeve. I need to create a persona for the others to buy into that will push me further and further into this game.

Alright, your questions sir (or ma'am)...

How confident are you going into this game that you will win?
I'll be honest in that I'm not too confident I will win the game. I like to think that I can and will win any game I put myself in, but this is a little daunting. I feel like I'm playing in the big leagues of sorts! I truly hope I can make it to the end (and have a winning case to make) but that's just too far into the future.

What are your opinions of your fellow tribemates?
Seeing as I just got on tonight, I haven't had a chance to talk to much of anyone. Stephannie and I chat for a little and JP and I chat for a little. I PMed Adam hoping to just start somewhere. It seems like Flicka either wants to be our tribe leader or is just acting the part for now to get everyone settled. Either way, I've decided to message her tomorrow since she may have some sway at one point or another. I want an alliance with JP and maybe Adam (boys will be boys, y'know?) but I am building a bridge with Stephannie for sure. Everyone thinks this is my first ORG and that I'm a total newb because that's what I want them to think. I need to be likable and not too threatening to anyone just yet.

What is your strategy and approach to the game?
Well, see above. Likable and non-threatening for now. Then position myself into the secondary leader role near merge so I can have better odds. And then from there hope everyone sticks to the plan. Or I jump ship when needed. Who knows.

How do you think your rep fits you? Do you think being this character will affect your gameplay at all?
If people think I am Ozzy, it could be good in that he's decently likable and helped his tribe a lot. But he also became a mega super threat once the merge hit and that's worrisome to me. I don't want people seeing that side of me, especially not as a first impression. Hopefully they'll see who I actually am (read: who I want them to believe I am) and it'll run smoothly.

What are your thoughts on the twist? Change your strategy at all going in to these first few days?
The public idol is a way for someone to say, "I'll take the target. Just strap it right here on my back." Like, why the fuck would you take that thing? Yau Man certainly seems to be in a precarious position now. Although I think he'll try to sell the, "I got it for US" approach to gain trust. They have it and we don't, so it could help them bond a little bit. I don't know. I'm hoping he's just fucked.
