Episode 01

Hey, I'm John Cochran, WINNER of Stranded in the Marquesas (All Stars).

Welcome to Stranded in the Faroe Islands!

You'll be seeing a lot of me here, as well as our 10 other co-hosts as we pick your brain to see what's really going on in your head throughout the game. Feel free to ask any of us questions in here if you need to, we've all been through it before and are more than willing to help.

Each round, we'll start by asking some introductory questions, and I just want to ask that you answer in complete statements. We will be actively blogging on each episode, and it's easier to do so if we have real quotes and complete thoughts as opposed to simple yes or no answers. We hope you keep up with your confessionals daily during the week as a way to vent and discuss the events of that day. The more you update your confessional, the better idea we have of whats going on in your head, and also the more fan favorite points you'll earn yourself come the end of the season . You don't have to only update when you are prompted to, whenever you have an idea shoot it at us because we want to know everything.

How confident are you going into this game that you will win?

ok this is a hard question. Honestly, I feel like I can probably get to jury stage, and possibly late jury. I mean, i think that theres probably people who will be more lucky than me in this game, and I'm pretty sure I won't get to FTC. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to go down kicking and screaming and doing everything I can to stay alive in this game.

What are your opinions of your fellow tribemates?

It's still fairly early in the game, so I haven't formed too many opinions about them. I'll write down what I think about them so far though.
Anthony - he's a pretty nice guy. i like him fairly well.
Cassandra - She is, like Anthony, pretty nice. However, she doesn't seem very experienced in ORGs. I proposed an alliance and she accepted, so hopefully I can use her as an extra vote for me.
Jessica - Pretty much exactly same as Cassandra.
Papa Smurf - He is so swag. We're friendly, and I can see us working together
Rita - She's nice. Very talkative, I might ally with her too, get a Black Widow Squad thing going on
Rocky - He is, in all aspects, your stereotypical "bro".
Stacy - I love Stacy I don't really trust her though... I'm not sure why lol
Yau Man - He's pretty cool, but he has the public idol. I'm going to try and take him out early merge

What is your strategy and approach to the game?

be the leader of a strong alliance, make and betray friendships, do whatever i want and mess things up. I'll never know these people IRL so it'll be pretty easy. I hope i CAN do this though...

How do you think your rep fits you? Do you think being this character will affect your gameplay at all?

ew no. liliana did nothing. she had like two confessionals i wish I was someone else tbh

What are your thoughts on the twist? Change your strategy at all going in to these first few days?

I mean, it's okay as twists go. Not too game changing, it's decent.
I'm going to either target Yau Man who has the public idol, or possibly work with him... and then betray him later

I'm just going to type up a quick confessional now that I've started actually playing the game.

I really trust Cassandra and Jessica, and it seems they have a pretty tight relationship also. I was talking game with Cassandra, and she proposed an alliance of us 3, Anthony, and Stacy. Of course i agreed. Honestly, i don't trust Stacy that much. I have no idea why... i just don't. Something seems weird about her. But Anthony is cool. I wrote back that we should have a core alliance of us and Jessica, and with Anthony and Stacy on the outside. She hasn't responded yet, but she'll probably agree.

I then suggested to Jessica the same deal. However, I said that Cassandra had come up with the plan so I don't look like the "leader" of the alliance. I also said that we should keep on sticking together... im awaiting a response from her too. She literally went offline 10 seconds before i sent the message ugh :/

Work those connections girl! Is anyone getting on your nerves or not vibing for you? What do you think might be your ideal move should the first challenge not go your way?

Jessica and I have been talking, and we're planning to make a fake alliance with Yau Man and Mookie, then tell Yau Man to use his idol because the others are targetting him. Then we'll hopefully all vote Rita, and she'll be gone and the idol will be out of play.

But he's been giving really short answers to my questions... i don't know if he is planning against me or something but he's suspicious... i want him gone ASAP but we need the idol gone before him

Do you think Yau or Mookie could be helpful to your game at all or is it better to string them along and keep them at arms length?
