Day 25 - Tribal Council #11

Liliana, is there any sense of gamesmanship where players would say "Okay, this person is a waste of a space, let's vote them out as respect for the game" or is that just a risk people aren't willing to take?

Candice, could there be a possibility where the jury loses respect for players that take goats to the finals with them?

shit son that's entirely what it is. what did people say as cass left the tribe? that she was the winner that never was? that's how every vote has gone down since steph got the boot, who people perceive as the biggest threats are leaving back to back to back.

Stacy, I have to actually commend your sportsmanship at the challenge for owning up to messing up and bowing out. Are you on the same page as everyone here wanting to vote out someone who rarely shows up out of good sportsmanship and respect for the game?

Oh I think so for sure. How insulting to players like those already on the jury if that ends up the case. I could see them saying, well, you wanted them there, so let's reward them for using a strategy (or using no strategy at all) for at least finding a way to the finals.

I've seen it happen before.

Jeff, to answer your question about goats, I read all the Stranded summaries over the weekend and I know for a fact that goat-taking doesn't always work. India proved that a jury bitter enough will give the victory of a goat.

Yea people aren't going to do that. You saw in the last two votes that this tribe as a whole is focused on getting rid of threats- i mean, how many unanimous votes do you see in postmerge survivor? And how often do you see it twice in a row?

There was one season, Stranded in India, season 7 where the jury banded together out of outrage and "Voted for the Worst" thus punsihing the final 3 for taking two inactives to the finals and awarding them the win. Is that a scenario that players have though of here? Penner?

She did, beat me to the punch!

It's something I think players need to consider because while voting out your competition is solid strategy and smart, it may not always work for every scenario, particularly with bitter juries.

Should we have read over the old seasons? I looked at Nepal but not much else icon_surprised

Btw are you still writing episodes for each season? I saw seasons like 1-4 or something had them but nothing else.

Uh, it is now! My strategy isn't exactly voting out threats though, my concern is voting out people I think will vote me out. With CiCi and Cass for example, I heard from multiple sources that they were planning on taking me out in a round or two.

Nate, is there any chance that the biggest threats band together and form an alliance to prevent the "weaker players" from taking them all out one by one?
