Question

Why did pretty much everyone refuse to work with me at merge

Like the only people i ever talked real strategy with was Steph, Flicka, and Cass. I tried to talk with others but you all would just lie to me and/or refuse to talk strategy

I had pretty much 0 chance in this game and it makes me kind of sad :(

Everyone was tunnel-visioned on their "plan."

My theory from what I gathered (so don't yell at me if I'm wrong), everyone wanted to get rid of Cecilia, Jessica, Candice, and Cassandra. But if they targeted them too early, it would be handing a numbers advantage to me, you, Flicka, Rocky, Rebecca.

So they decided just to get rid of us and treat us like pawns in the game so that they could go after each other later on.

You, Flicka, Rocky, and Rebecca they never viewed as people with a chance to win the game. They tossed you aside as someone "not really playing" and someone they could just manipulate and get rid of later on (without realizing everyone has their individual vote and "pawns" are players too).

So when we got to the merge, pretty much all the "big players" were on one tribe and decided to band together to get rid of us so that they could start attacking each other safely... because we were viewed as "less-than" in their eyes... don't tell me that's not true with the condescending PM's Cecilia/Jessica/etc. would send to Liliana/Flicka, and the comments made about Rocky/Rebecca in jury house. (not trying to start drama because I still like you guys, it's just what I've observed)

so ya pretty much everyone had their "long-term-plan" locked in their minds, and it didn't involve us.
It's really frustrating, but the consolation prize is that we get to see them all join the jury... i.e. things may have been different if they had actually taken a step back icon_whistling

It's a good thing this isn't irl survivor because this would be a very boring season.

Like they had their final 3 deals already set up... some people had every vote-off planned from f12 to f3, and they weren't willing to budge too far from it (and, let me tell you, those people are all in the jury house right now icon_whistling )

I literally warned everyone when I was getting voted out that me going was just going to result in all of them following suit (Cecilia, Jessica, Cassandra) resulting in a Nate/Stacy/Rebecca/Rocky finals but nobody would listen icon_whistling

I'd certainly say some of this is true.
I feel like with Stacy, I and a couple of the other "floaters" we tend to play our cards a lot closer to our chest, and we were really afraid of anything we said could be used against us, especially because we felt like we can "work within" our group while you guys just seemed to be a homogeneous other who we would automatically be on the bottom of. I feel like in my case partially because I didn't really know you guys that well because I was paranoid about 1.0 alliances. You also were a lot more outspoken than Rocky/Rebecca, which probably for us made it more likely that you would just go crazy at Tribal Council and say "well N8 said this this and this and this and this"

Nah, that was my fault because I consistently kept convincing Cecilia I didn't know what to do. I didn't realize it was gonna spread like fire I wasn't playing the game or something icon_yawn

But it's funny she didn't realize I was so tight with so many people lol. She kept pushing the fact that I was gonna go if I didn't start playing soon, while I was literally planning her demise in other PMs icon_laughing

I perceived you as a lying person that would spread everything to others. But actually that's what most people were (Jessica, Steph, Rebecca, Candice) so...

After Svinoy 3.0, I was very afraid of the 4 of you being a powerhouse alliance. I told everyone about how awful you all were and how manipulative you could be. In retrospect, it wasn't a bad move because it created a common enemy, but it also showed everyone how vocal and controlling I can be. I probably shouldn't have shown my distrust of you all so quickly, but honestly I was happy with how things worked out.

A lot of what Steph is saying is true, but in any case the catalyst for the demeaning attitudes and feelings of superiority came from how I felt being on Svinoy 3.0 and how I couldn't say that any of you were good players to keep around. Plus you all continuing to band together at the Steph vote kept the Svinoy bias alive.
