Episode 11

Postby Jeff Probst » Thu Sep 03, 2015 9:42:17 pm

Second Unanimous vote in a row. Second huge blindside in a row. Second giant player in a row to leave.

Are you concerned with your status in the game. Are you taking out the only other targets in the game aside from yourself? How is your résumé going into the final 8? WIth one more week of the game, are you prepared to play it all out? Time is running out to impress the jury.

Explain how you view your game and how you think the jury will have seen your game. How can you win and who are your biggest threats standing in your way?

Oh yeah. I've been a fan of the blindsides so far because it means we get to take out some major players this week. People have been quiet so far about the next vote, which has me worried that they're all conspiring against me, but I think they're just taking a much needed break from the stress of the game over the weekend. If I'm not the next on the block, I think we're going to go for Lil with Rocky as our backup if she wins immunity. The group wants to help narrow down the Svinoy three to help avoid them overthrowing us and keep our alliance from imploding for another week. And then I think the bloodbath starts and Jess and Candice will be going after each other.

So to answer your second question, yet I am a little concerned about my place in the game. With two major blindsides, you never know if you're next. I don't think I'm a big personality. I think Jess and Candice are bigger, but you never know. My plan for the remainder of the game is:
-Vote out Lil with a 5-3 majority.
-Vote out Candice with a 4-3 majority - I'm not 100% sold on picking Candice over Jessica, but I think Penner is less of a threat without Candice than Nate is without Jess.
And then, after that. I don't know. I don't know who of Rebecca, Rocky, Nate, Jessica and Penner that I want sitting beside me in the Final 2. I want to win, so Rebecca and Penner would probably be my best bets since Rocky, Nate and Jessica have some sure bets for votes on the jury, but I also think people would think I was weak for taking Penner and Rebecca to the end - hard to say.

I think if I can get to the Final 3, it will be easy to explain my role in this game. I want from almost being voted out when Steph was, to in the thick of making decisions. I helped orchestrate the Flicka, Cici and Cass boots and, down the road, I'm helping to get rid of Lil and either Candice or Jessica. I'm not a goat or a follower. I play a very social game and do my best to steer the vote in the direction that I think is best for me. Being a lawyer, I'm good with my words. I'd like to win a challenge to keep my butt safe, but I know I can't rely on that so I try to make sure I know exactly where the vote is going. I've played many ORGs and faced the jury as a finalist 3 times and won all 3 times. So I know I can, potentially, convince them that I played the best game no matter who I'm sitting beside. I'd still rather be sitting beside the least threatening people though.
