Well... holy shit, man. Hahaha! That went even better than I could have ever thought possible! I feel honored that I was part of, as Jeff said, one of the craziest tribal councils in Stranded history. And, not to sound arrogant, but I am TOTALLY the reason as to why that tribal council was so epic. A million thoughts were going through my head as to what to do once I was at tribal council. I was just thinking, "Okay, all the votes for me won't count and Jessica will be sent packing". After thinking about it for about a second, as an act of impulse, I thought, "I gotta show this thing and maybe people will show who they are really working with and since me and Stephannie were at the bottom, I have nothing to lose."
After seeing Jessica pull out an immunity necklace, I thought, "Oh shit." But then, I thought, this is GREAT, actually! Even though she's safe for tonight, she won't have this idol anymore!" So my first vote was for Jessica, but I got confused with the voting deadline and when she pulled out her necklace, I switched to Anthony because I certainly wasn't going to vote for Rocky or Liliana because I wanted to show my loyalty to them and I was hoping JP was with us. I switched who I said we should vote out like 3 or 4 times, but when Rocky & Liliana said they were voting for JP and Stephannie said she wasn't voting for Anthony, I knew JP was the one that had to go. I much rather would have preferred Anthony gone, but hey, one step at a time, right?
It turns out I didn't need my idol, but even though I was pretty certain at that point that I wasn't going to be voted out, or even voted for, I wasn't going to take the risk of not playing it and going home on my first tribal council. And honestly, I feel like it would have made me an even bigger target if I still had that thing with me. I have a feeling that people will see how hard I am willing to play in this game and unfortunately for me, that makes me a big target.
I was hoping JP would be with us, but he wasn't and was kind of backed up into a corner, so him leaving, honestly, if anything it just solidified my alliance with Svinoy 2.0.
If we end up back at tribal council tomorrow, I would like to think Jessica or Anthony will be next, but with everything that's happened tonight, who fuckin' knows?
My main goal with the idol was to get out Jessica, but ironically, it has kept her safe. Had I not shown it during tribal council, she wouldn't have whipped out her immunity necklace and she would've been voted out, but that only would have saved me for one vote. Now, I think I may be good until the merge.
Thank you, Stranded for allowing me to have so much damn fun while being so scared at the same time! Even if I get voted out next, I hope I can return to play one day. This is a freaking blast.
