Hey, I'm John Cochran, WINNER of Stranded in the Marquesas (All Stars).

Welcome to Stranded in the Faroe Islands!

You'll be seeing a lot of me here, as well as our 10 other co-hosts as we pick your brain to see what's really going on in your head throughout the game. Feel free to ask any of us questions in here if you need to, we've all been through it before and are more than willing to help.

Each round, we'll start by asking some introductory questions, and I just want to ask that you answer in complete statements. We will be actively blogging on each episode, and it's easier to do so if we have real quotes and complete thoughts as opposed to simple yes or no answers. We hope you keep up with your confessionals daily during the week as a way to vent and discuss the events of that day. The more you update your confessional, the better idea we have of whats going on in your head, and also the more fan favorite points you'll earn yourself come the end of the season . You don't have to only update when you are prompted to, whenever you have an idea shoot it at us because we want to know everything.

I'm beyond excited to finally be playing Stranded! This is definitely a highlight of my summer getting to compete.

Everything has been relatively relaxed for me...so I'm a little nervous in missing out. Some people have messaged me, but until I've talked to every contestant I will feel completely outside.

A lot of people are from Fiji, so I'm already nervous there's an alliance forming. Realistically they wouldn't make something so obvious, but this game wouldn't be mine if I played it "logically" or "correctly" so I'll be paranoid instead.

I can't tell whether I would laugh or cry if I was voted out first. I hope I'm not, but thus far I still haven't spoken to 3 members of my tribe. I'm hoping to change it, but I'm worried this is a sign of something more. Realistically they just haven't been active seeing as it has been a day, but I'll assume the worst of every situation.

In terms of confidence in coming in this game and how I feel about the goings-on...I'm a little overwhelmed. I don't want to come off as an alliance mastermind, so I'm just trying to be social and make some allies, but I'm worried about where everyone else is at. It's entirely possible I am already in the minority of this tribe in terms of trust, placement, and abilities. My only hope in making it past the first tribal council in my books is to ensure I either get the private immunity idol (which most likely won't happen, but I'll try my darndest) or just not losing.

Wish me luck! I would be beyond heartbroken if my first Stranded experience ended with an elimination night goddamn 1!

Liliana just asked to make an alliance with me. I'm not sure whether this is a good thing or a bad thing this early. I'm glad she has some experience and has made an alliance with me, but let's be honest if she's this quick to make one with me it's a safe assumption that I'm not the only one.

Do I trust her more or less because of this? Neither. I will consider her messages of higher priority, but she's still a player and I ain't about to get played by her this quick.

So the game is awfully slow right now, and that's proving to make me more and more anxious. I've spoken with a bunch of people and they all seem very friendly, but once the first immunity challenge occurs is when I feel true colors will be shown. My initial thoughts to each of the players are as follows:

Anthony: Very nice guy, an engineer, intelligent. I like him, and I feel like I'm starting off on the right foot with him.

Cassandra: She and I have similar humors and I feel as though she and I could become allies. She is active and I enjoy her

Liliana: My very first alliance, active, and a wonderful gal. Not sure whether I feel her creation of an alliance is a good thing or a bad thing.

Mookie: Hasn't spoken to me...so yeah.

Papa Smurf: Maybe it's because he is an old man, but he just seems more mature and wiser. He's friendly, but there's not a connection yet.

Rita: Hasn't spoken to me and her introduction was short. No feelings.

Rocky: Hasn't spoken to me. Couldn't care less.

Stacy: I liked the Pokemon chat we had, but she's been less active over the past two days. Hopefully I can make some sort of connection with her.

Yau Man: I like this guy, he's fun to talk to and he is very active. At this point I like him the most out of any of the other competitors.

Cassandra, the wonderful dear, has brought me into a group of 5 consisting of: myself, her, Liliana, Anthony, and Stacy. This is the very start of the game and a huge alliance has been formed, so that's a little terrifying...but I'm included so I feel better. Obviously though my suspicions were confirmed that Liliana has made other alliances, at least with Cassandra. While I'm glad to be in the majority power, I worry about my place in the totem pole.

The main goal at this point for my strategy is to get closer with Cassandra, Liliana, Anthony, and Stacy. I just hope this alliance doesn't end up hurting me somehow...like betraying me.

I might have fucked up when I made an alliance with Yau Man. If for some reason he says I'm the one who created it, it could seem like I'm not trustworthy. Luckily, if nothing gets out before the first tribal council, I should be able to get rid of my ally without my other allies realizing I made an alliance with him.

Of course...if I get rid of an ally who I assume is close to me and not many others, I lose someone loyal in exchange for 4 other players who may be more loyal to someone else. Hopefully I won't have to make this decision if we don't lose on Sunday.

Have there been any tribe members who are less active than others? Are they in serious contention for early boots as challenge liabilities?

Oh for sure. Rocky, Rita, and Mookie are all inactive as hell. I literally haven't spoken to any of them, except Rocky who just messaged me. The fact of the matter is, whether they are inactive or not, they're targets at this point.

Cassandra, Liliana, Anthony, Stacy (hopefully), and I are all The Beautiful People: a 5-person alliance of the Mykines tribe. We've all ready made a plan to get Yau Man to use his immunity idol in our tribal council, and target someone else. The moment we get one person out of the tribe is the moment we gain majority power and the ability to be safe until the merge.

While we hope we don't ever lose, either way I feel semi-confident in my safety. That being said, I am worried about how many other deals have been made and who is truly aligned with whom.

It's a possibility...except Rita hasn't come on since the beginning. Also I feel close to Yau Man, Rocky, and Mookie. Do I think they could make another 5-person alliance? Sure, anything an happen. However, I feel as though all the active social people are already in my alliance.

As Day 3 comes to a close I really have to wonder who i feel closest too. The list from highest to lowest would probably be:
1.Mookie - Our hatemance far exceeds anything I feel the other players have. Everyone is making deals, but Mookie and I have something much deeper...angrier.
2.Liliana - 3 Alliances will do that to you, make you trust someone. She's nice and sweet but I feel she's a real deal-maker with everyone.
3.Cassandra - We flirt a little bit, and she's wonderful too. However i definitely feel like she's closer with Anthony and Liliana than I am with her...
4.Anthony - He's a member of BP, we've chatted and he's a great guy. Obviously I'm not his main alliance, but for right now that is fine.
5.Stacy - We had a very short conversation, and since we're in an alliance I have to have some faith. Not my biggest ally, however.
6.Rocky - He's nice, we've flirted, and I feel we have a slight bond. He's definitely not my #1, I'm not his.
7.Yau Man - Thought we were close, but his answers to my PM's are so concise I feel as though I am just his pawn. Honestly, the sooner he loses that public idol, the better we'll be. I kind of want him out.
8.Papa Bear- I barely talked to him. I have no strong opinions on him.
9.Rita - Zero. Literally zero words have been said to her.

Goals for the round:
-Bye bye idol
-Get rid of Papa or Rita, optimistically
-Remain unscathed
-Protect Mookie until either something better comes up, or BP falls apart and I can relocate main allegiance.

We basically trash each other. Call each other names, criticize each other's ideas and strats. We're like enemies, but we do it out of mutual respect. We've dubbed our alliance the Dickbutt Shitlords.

No matter what happens in this game, I already feel more confident with the DBSL around.
