Hey, I'm John Cochran, WINNER of Stranded in the Marquesas (All Stars).

Welcome to Stranded in the Faroe Islands!

You'll be seeing a lot of me here, as well as our 10 other co-hosts as we pick your brain to see what's really going on in your head throughout the game. Feel free to ask any of us questions in here if you need to, we've all been through it before and are more than willing to help.

Each round, we'll start by asking some introductory questions, and I just want to ask that you answer in complete statements. We will be actively blogging on each episode, and it's easier to do so if we have real quotes and complete thoughts as opposed to simple yes or no answers. We hope you keep up with your confessionals daily during the week as a way to vent and discuss the events of that day. The more you update your confessional, the better idea we have of whats going on in your head, and also the more fan favorite points you'll earn yourself come the end of the season . You don't have to only update when you are prompted to, whenever you have an idea shoot it at us because we want to know everything.

How confident are you going into this game that you will win?
I am fairly confident going in because at first glance I am the most strategic and powerful player in this game and I think it won't be too difficult to herd my sheep.

What are your opinions of your fellow tribemates?
They're completely moronic, I'm sure they all wholeheartedly believe they can win this game which is completely false and they're in for a rude awakening.

What is your strategy and approach to the game?
It's to act like I care about my tribunates when in fact I don't care at all what they are saying, so in theory don't get attached to any one or group of players.

How do you think your rep fits you? Do you think being this character will affect your gameplay at all?
I think I can work with my rep I think that I take Yau and make him a little more interesting strip away his humanity and show the world what a cold blooded Yau could do

I decided to go for the public immunity idol for a few reasons, for one it is the biggest bargaining chip so far in this game. Everyone knows that I have control over it so I can use it to form initial alliances with the idol in the center of the alliance. Telling them I'll use it on them if they're in trouble but in the end keeping it. Plus any immunity that you can get your hands on is ideal as I am also trying to figure out the password to get my hands on the hidden immunity idol.

How do you think the other players are taking your claim? :)

I think that the other players will take it very well because of the way I'm trying to play it, as a bargaining chip rather than just not mentioning the fact that I have it at all.

I think that the alliance that I'm trying to form which right now Jessica is my ride or die isn't too dependent on the idol, I've altered my strategy to focus more on my interpersonal relationships and gather people in by just getting to know them so they're not just like "Who is this guy, we know he has an idol let's flush it"

What is your strategy with the idol? Have you considered dumping it early or do you plan on using it as a tool as you did when you first took it?

I think that with the idol I'm going to keep it in my pocket until I need it, I think dumping it would decrease the target on my back but at the same time make me unsafe plus the target on my back for going after it is still there for going for the idol publicly

I feel like I struggled today in the immunity challenge, being so over confident would've been a big thing if we went to tribal. I think my best strategy would have been to partner up with somebody. Overall I don't think it hurts me in the long run, it shows I'm not a threat in the long term plus we won this challenge so it wasn't incredibly negative to the tribe

Did this challenge affect your opinions of anyone else in the game, your tribe or the other? Do you think it impacted other's opinions of you?

No I don't think it affected my view of anyone one else and I don't feel as though it affected the view of me for one simple reason, we won the challenge and winning a challenge usually doesn't have players looking at each other negatively
